Lancaster Steiner School

Lancaster Independent School for Alternative Learning (formerly Lancaster Steiner School) offers a gentle and natural alternative to mainstream education. We offer a nurturing environment with small classes where each child receives individual care and attention. Through creative teaching, children learn the skills they need in English and Maths, but are also given a lifelong love of learning and room for their imaginations to grow.

We work closely with Appledore Montessori Nursery (who share our building). They share our child-centered and holistic approach, valuing the development of the whole child and sense of awe and reverence of the natural world.
